Section 2: The Succession Planning Process


Now that you know a little more about the nature of succession planning, its benefits and potential pitfalls, you are ready to begin the five step process to creating your plan. As you go, you may like to complete the Succession Plan Template. At the end of each step, there will be a reminder for you to revisit the template and add the new information to your plan. It is best if you complete the templates and/or worksheets in each section and then use that information to complete the Success Plan Template. Please note, the template is intended as a guide only and should be adjusted or changed to suit the needs of your club where necessary.
